The location of the hostel was excellent, with easy access to the iSite and other transportation drop-offs. It was very convenient to explore the city on foot. the kitchen was also a great feature, with plenty of stove tops and refrigerator space. the towels provided for drying dishes were a nice touch.
Our room was located right above a dumpster, so there was a strong smell in the morning. There was also an old apple under the bed, which was a bit unpleasant.

The hostel offered a great location, with key amenities nearby. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were in good condition, and the hostel provided free vouchers for internet access. It was a bonus to have free coffee and tea available, as well as towels provided for a small deposit. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome during our stay.
There were a few drawbacks to our experience. The room we stayed in had some issues, such as being located next to a noisy party street on weekends, which disrupted our sleep.

We stayed at Rock Solid Backpackers for 3 nights while exploring the city. The hostel offered a unique experience with a climbing gym and a cinema right in the building. The atmosphere was fantastic, and our room had big windows that let in plenty of natural light. We were able to use the kitchen on our departure day to cook lunch, which was a great convenience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect for our needs, and we appreciated the clean common areas and bedrooms. Additionally, we enjoyed watching people rock climb and playing table tennis at the reception. The luggage storage facility and the availability of wifi even after checking out were added bonuses. our stay was enjoyable and we would definitely choose to stay here again.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

As longer term business travelers, we enjoyed the comfortable and spacious rooms with a choice of single beds instead of bunk beds. the location was central to all amenities, with supermarkets, takeaways, and retail stores just outside the door. the reception area was welcoming and equipped with a rock climbing wall, computers, and flyers for local tourist attractions. the many bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the chill-out spots with bean bags and charging points throughout the building. the fast and reliable wifi was a bonus, and we enjoyed watching the climbers below.
Felt like our own home, no reason to complain.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to an ensuite room for free, which was comfortable. Great location for partying and walking back to the hostel. Amazingly cheap rates compared to other hostels. Clean and well-organized kitchen. Comfy beds. Free climbing shoes at the wall if you mention the hostel. Safe and close to everything.
Felt spoilt, no complaints at all.
